In this week's Main blog post I talked about the Canon 55-250mm STM lens! I also threw in some example photos as well! I want to remind you all that the blog is just a few follows away from 50 followers! I want to hit it before the 50th blog post in two weeks, so that I can have 50 follows on the 50th blog post!

The Galaxybook new software has arrived! Well... most of it! Either way, I wrote a blog post on Medium.com all about the software and compared it to other softwares!

This week we had the incredible Google I/O! Google really has been busy in the past two years! Being that there was no 2020 I/O Google had time to prepare AI, huge product updates, and healthcare research! Plus, they had time to get some awesome cinematography for the event with some awesome looking cameras! They also had an AI opera which I got to play around with (it is hilarious). I have a post about every single thing announced at the link below!

Link Confusion

Rumble Channel!

Guess what?! I have a channel on Rumble.com! I am going to be posting the time lapses there going forwards, so I have unlimited upload space and better analytics! I have made sure that accounts are not needed to view my content, so it should be no different from Kapwing! Just an FYI, don't donate to the channel since I don't have a bank account linked to it! Google Pixel Leaks

Google did not release any Google Pixels at the event. Before the event there was a divide in the #teampixel community with some saying that the 5a was launching at I/O and others saying it would come in August/September. It is awesome for me because I found a leak first hand during the week confirming that the 5a design may have been finalized! Rhinosheild put up on their website a listing for a 5a case, sadly with no photos. It does imply that case companies may be preparing cases already. My Tweet is at over 900 views which is pretty awesome!

News!

Now it is time to talk about news! I won't be talking about any I/O announcements, but will talk about the leaks that came out this week for Google! 

As always, I will start with what I missed!

- The Google Pixel 6 was heavily leaked, the design was revealed and it is pretty wacky! The community was told that the colors in the renders aren't accurate but the design should be.

- This is just one of many rumors from last week hinting at the Pixel 5a at Google I/O. They were all wrong, but I did want to throw it in here.

- The Sony Xperia ||| was leaked and had no good upgrades, hope things change for the Sony fans!

- Guess what?! Instagram is finally developing a system to post through the browser on computers! If you have ever tried, you will know you have to go through the Google Inspect page to switch the page to mobile, resize the page, and reload to get a pretty buggy site for posting through your computer!

- This week we had a few WP updates, one of which fixed some vulnerabilities for users!

- Twitter has added a DM search feature for android!

- Vazen launched a 50mm Anamorphic lens!

- A Leica zoom lens was unveiled!

- The Galaxy Note 21 was confirmed despite last weeks rumors of a cancellation!

- Last week the Zenphone flip was released!

- The Zenphone 8 was also released!

Okay, now we are going to ignore just how much I missed in last week's newsletter and take a look at this week's news!

- Canon could be working on a less expensive telephoto lens patents show!

- I saw these leaks and think that Samsung is literally copying Google! This A22 literally looks like a glossy Google Pixel 4a5G with an extra camera.

- The rumors may be wrong, Google may be keeping unlimited storage for Pixel users!

- Leica is searching for a new mobile phone partner!

- A leak for a Sharp phone came out showing off a massive camera with the Leica brand supporting the rumors of Leica searching for a new partner! They may have already found one!

- Samsung revealed a triple foldable phone that folds over three times!

- Well, again Pixel leaks were wrong since the new rumors show a dropdown notch unlike previous Pixel leaks showing an under-display camera!

- The Nikon z30 was leaked more!

- Nikon retired yet another lens this week: the 16-35mm.

- Fujifilm X may be done for 2021 cameras after the early-year releases!

- A Pixel under-display camera patent came out and it looks more promising than other under display counterparts!

- The Huawei p50 series could have an awesome new camera!

- Nikon is denying all that says the Z mount lenses are heavily delayed!

- The Samsung May security patch is rolling out to select devices. Why doesn't Samsung have feature drops like Google?!

- Oh my, oh my... Twitter may be creating a subscription service that will include the ability to edit tweets after they are tweeted. We asked for this feature, but we didn't want to pay for it Twitter!

- Openshot just brought professional video editing to Chromebooks!

- Xiaomi is at work and rumors say that they are working on a modular phone and a phone with a rotating, under display, totally dope camera!

- ZTE Nubia camera specs were leaked!

- Adobe photoshop is now supported on ARM devices in Windows 10!

- Zenit unveiled manual lenses that fit with multiple camera mounts!

- Following the major Pixel 6 leaks, we had a kinda unknown source say that Sony would be providing a 50 mp sensor. I think that it would make more sense than a Samsung sensor, but that's just me!

- Google did something at Keynote which was pretty clever and sneaky! They showed off android 12 with the date set to September 30th. It is believed that Google will launch the Pixel 6 then!

- More rumors for the Pixel 6 were right in the Android 12 beta... I don't really understand it, but you might!

- Kolari has been at work on lens protection to the extreme!

- Finally, for something very cool, Google is opening a store in New York City to sell Google Pixels, Google Homes, and more of #madebygoogle stuff!
