Hello All!

This week I have a blog post and the weekly news! Let's see what's new!

Main Blog!

For this week's main blog post, I talked about Adobe's new photo editor! Okay, spoiler alert: it isn't great. Check out the post with the button below!

-News!

To start off this week's news:

- OnePlus has followed Oppos footsteps in stopping third party camera apps from using anything except the main camera. I wouldn't be surprised if this results in a lawsuit.

- Google Toolbar for competing browser Internet Explorer is officially gone and considering it is a project in a dead browser, it isn't a surprise. It was certainly ageing since Google Plus is also no longer in operation.

- Zoom (audio company, not video calling 😂) is preparing to release the next mini video recorder and although it doesn't stand out for video quality, it is average with the huge perk being its awesome audio. For sure good as another camera in a concert or something.

- DJI has leaked 2022 products including the DJI RS3 and RSC3 (successor to my current gimbal), another DJI fpv, this time mini, to follow the massive success of DJI's first fpv drone. Also, there are a few more for you to check out here.

- Adobe's new CC Express is out, which is what my blog post is all about. Here is a post more about it.

- An intriguing story has unfolded on the internet of Facebook trying to take a tech enthusiast's Instagram page: @metaverse. Recognize that name... oh, that's Facebook's (meta's) VR endeavour. After a fight, they did get the account back.

- Google might be releasing a successor to one of their most hyped, iconic, and impressive pieces of hardware ever. Yes, that is Google Glass. This will fix Google's biggest issue in 2013, they were too ahead of the times and people didn't want a camera on their glasses.

- Oppo just released what is widely believed now to be the best folding on the market. It is an impressive feat for a first gen device, but after their 4 years of work, they have refined the phone. Of course, there are some hiccups, but overall seems great.

- Possible Pixel watch faces have leaked! They certainly look like the Googly watch we are waiting for with Android 12 Material You influence.

- Snapchat released a video editor?! Yeah, but what is really unfortunate: it is only on iPhone for the time being. I tried getting it through some loops for this week's blog post, but couldn't find a method for free.

- A new audio mixer from Zoom Audio is also coming alongside the handy recorder.

- Google is shutting down their shortest lived software: Museletter. It is from Area 120 at Google and this is the purely experimental app developers, so it is not really a surprise that an experiment would end like this.

- Amazon launched their next watch and... it is totally different from their first gen creepiness. It seems to still have those weird features, but also has a fitbit clone design. Like, this looks like the exact standard (budget) fitbit design...  Yikes, may be as lawsuit here.

- Despite Area 120 at Google shutting down their Museletter, they launched Qaya which is a digital storefront. It is an experimental redesign of digital marketplaces.

- T-Mobile is bringing a 5g speed boost for Pixel 6 devices putting T-Mobile ahead of Verizon's network.

- MediaTek's new and first major Qualcomm Premium competing chip is looking excellent. This might bring MediaTek's reputation from a lower end slow chip to a really nice and fast chip.

- I didn't include the prior reports, but Google may be bringing some of the first software face unlock ever. If you don't know, FaceUnlock before now on all phones/laptops/tablets/etc. needs extra hardware and normally a larger top bezel. Hole punch cameras don't often support it. Google may be able to use some clever software to replace this hardware!

-AWS (Amazon Web Services) went down bringing some of the biggest websites in the world yet again. It seems like they are trying to send people to Google's Cloud Hosting. 😂

- The world's best and one of the most popular video conferencing (casual) may be leaving. Yes, Google Duo in the past few years has accumulated over a Billion users and best class video transmission quality may be leaving. Feature rollout has slowed down, which confirms leaks that Google Meet is changing to become both a professional and casual call service.

- Meta is now on Google Play as the Facebook developer page on the Google Play Store has been changed to Meta Platforms.

- Adobe added Photoshop RAW support for Pixel phones (6 & 6 Pro) as well as some of Samsung's newest phones.

- YouTube is revamping it's channel profiles to be more social media like.

That's it for this week! See you next week!
