News!

This week I have a lot of interesting news, so let's get into it!

- Google decided to change the direction the company has focused on and suddenly opens up a LOT of positions for tablet designers and developers. It is likely that a new tablet lineup from Google is coming. . I find it odd that rumours hint of Android tablets even though Chrome OS would be the WAY more obvious OS for this. Google has made massive changes to Android on tablets recently with Android 12L, so it seems that Android is their focus.

- In a longer term review of the Pixel Stand 2, there were some issues despite the original being widely considered one of the best wireless chargers on the market.

- OnePlus is merging its Android OS build with Oppos Colour OS build... they want to call it: H2OOS. Please, why. That name is far from catchy, honestly, just try to say it out loud and you'll see.

- Major gmail UI changes are coming, and it is going to look a lot like Yahoo now.

- The New York Times bought newly popular Wordle that has become an extremely popular site in just a few weeks.

- 3d emojis in Windows 11 are still coming despite the "temporary" 2d emoji's being here for a while.

- WhatsApp unlimited Google Drive backups are coming to an end. Google is going to limit storage and considering the Google Cloud still has to make cuts before it stops losing money, it really makes sense.

- Despite a lot of bug reports from Pixel 6 users, the phone still sold phenomenally.

- IOS to Android reactions are rolling out in betas to Google Messages using Google's translation algorithm to make IOS reactions into RSC Android reactions.

- What is still considered to be Google's best budget phone (also my phone) is going off sale despite the successor being out for months. It is unknown why Google, for the first time, kept a previous gen phone on sale but it may have been because the Pixel 5a was $100 more than the 4a.

- Google is working on a Beta suprise for Google Messages that changes the way sending images works (i believe using RCS).

- Industry reports say that company's/manufactures are prioritizing PC production over Chromebooks due to the chip shortage.

- Reports say that the Microsoft Surface 3 phone may not release this year or ever.

- As usual we have some strange iPhone leaks that are without a doubt far from release.

- In case you didn't spend enough on the $549 Airpods Max, you could spend another $980 on a Gucci bag for them.

- Google cloud money loss info is revealed to be just over $600 million compared to the $1 Billion in 2021

-Google launched the Pixel 6 and 6 pro in Italy and Spain in a limited quantity. Surprisingly, no major announcement was made, but it will likely make it into the next Pixel update vid.

That is all this week! Have a great week!
