Hey all!

Today I have a blog post including a video that will be the first video entirely edited without use of Windows! I used an officially supported Chrome OS editor: OpenShot and despite its old-style interface, it does have some tricks up its sleeve. I also have some photos and a new news section! Enjoy!

Top 3 Hot Headlines:

This is the replacement news section for now! I am not able to type out all the news stories from the week so instead, here are the top 3 stories that were trending this week!

1. A huge scandal with Vimeo came out with the discovery that Patreon (a service for content creators to post premium content) users were being charged thousands to tens of thousands in dollars & pounds over storage. Apparently Patreon videos use Vimeo and in a desperate attempt to save Vimeo as a company, they needed to enforce a storage limit. This will likely put YouTube ahead and Patreon users will instead use Channel Memberships that were rolled out as a Patreon alternative baked into YouTube. It is bad for may Photographers and Video/Cinematographers who uploaded via Vimeo because of the slight edge on compression quality.

2. News has come out that Samsung is falling behind in chipset sales likely because of Google's phenomenal new chip. For Samsung it isn't a huge deal since Google pays Samsung to make the chip, but investors in Samsung won't be too happy with the companies first party sales falling behind.

3. DJI introduced an incredible new Matrice drone that is capable of flying in very heavy rain! It is phenomenal to see this and exciting for Photographers, Cinematographers, and Surveyors to get footage, photos, and data in rainstorms.

I hope that you enjoy this new abbreviated news format!
