Google IO! What happened?

- Google first announced two products you can get now! The Pixel 6a can be preordered and it looks awesome as well as the Pixel Buds Pro which look to outperform the Airpods Pro! Excited to see those on shelves!

- We got a preview at the Pixel 7 (& 7 Pro) with the same camera systems but likely lots of software upgrades! Also, we saw the Pixel Watch which is coming in the Autumn with the Pixel 7! The internet is super excited over this addition to the Pixel family and huge Apple Watch competitor!

- Finally, we got an ultra-preview for 30 seconds of the Pixel Tablet!! This gives me the most excitement! All that is known so far is it will be powered by Android, not Chrome OS like previous Google tablets from early to mid 2010's, and also be powered by the incredible Google Tensor 2 or maybe 3.

- Despite many awesome announcment, there is some dissapointment at the lack of Google Pixelbook which at the time, the "Pixelbook Go" from 2019 was considered to be the best ever hardware on a laptop even with a keyboard better than the MacBook that year! Another dissapointment came with no Chromecast w Google TV successor, despite many rumours and even a preorder page on Amazon...

Top 3 Headlines:

- Super interesting news about Linux came as the Chinese government is ending use of Windows and switching to Linux... the distro is unknown (maybe custom government built) but it will be the first government to use Linux and likely increase the marketshare of Linux by a chunk since the size of the government is quite large.

- Android 13 now allows 3rd party camera apps to use the most powerful chips and show realtime HDR which even most 1st party camera apps (like Google Camera) don't have yet doing HDR after the shot is captured

- Finally, we recieved news that Samsung is bringing 200mp to the S23!! A phenominal camera update that Google should probably worry about, although historically Google has done better than Samsung in many areas despite the lack of high mp's.

That is it this week, thanks for reading!!
