Heya!
This week I have a blog post and news! Enjoy!

The blog post!
Today I have a post with photos from a hike, including an adorable turtle! Enjoy!

Top 3 Headlines:

- A big bit of news hit with Nikon announcing that their next DSLR will be their last one ever. From then on they will make mirroless cameras only! This is accompanying similar desicions made by Canon in the transition to entirely mirroless cameras.

- The Nothing Phone 1 has finally arrived and many are asking if the phone is actually worth the hype. Answer... maybe. The phone is pretty decent but as the Verge says, it is very familiar. Nothing seems to be following Googles approach to smartphones in focusing on a specific part of the phone. Googles focus was and largley still is the camera and software while Nothing is focusing on the Design and Integration. The company has vision buy it isn't the best phone in a world with the Pixel 6a almost ready to ship.

- Android 13 is about to launch following the final beta (#4) of the OS and Google is going to be launching the update 2 months earlier than Android 12 and `1 month earlier than Andorid 11! Google has an interesting switch in update months. While the update isn't large, a few features are pretty convenient. A major change will probably never be used by an average user but developers can now, somewhat easily, run a full Linux distro or Windows or MacOS in Android. It was possible before but now it is baked into the OS which is a really interesting change that could mean quite a lot or could be nothing at all.

That is it today, thank you for reading!
