Advocacy 101 Brownbag Webinar on September 28th at 12pm

Right now, it's never been a more important time to warm up and advocate for your state park, trail, forest, and recreation area.

We are hosting an Advocacy 101 webinar with retired lobbyist Susan McMurray. Susan will lead on the topic of addressing the difference between "advocacy" and "lobbying." It will focus on not only "why" is it important to share your voice during this fall election, but "how" to be an effective advocate with your district representatives and candidates. This was originally scheduled for tonight, but rescheduled for scheduling issues. All Friends' board members are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate.
