Hey everyone!
A week into July already! Well, it's another week and I have two posts (WP & Medium) as well as the news! Enjoy!

The blog post!
In today's post I show off a lens I've been hyped about for a month but unfortunately it was a slow proccess to ship a lens from Ukraine to me in the US. It did finally come on Wednesday and I got a few days to take photos and quickly put together this "first impressions" post! Enjoy!

Top 3 Headlines:

- This week the president awarded Steve Jobs with the Medal of Freedom! A deserving recipient for an incredible award.

- Darktable released their 4.0 update! I am a huge fan of Darktable and all the photos this week and last week were edited in this program. Filmic v6 is now in Darktable which a new color science for your photos! A new more powerful highlight reconstruction tool was added called guided laplacian. In total the program now hosts FIFTY new features which is extremely exciting!

- Rumors about the iPhone 14 are pretty interesting at this point... Apple made an incredibly strange desition and are manufacturing 10% less phones this year. Pretty weird, right. Their are two possibilities here. Firstly, Apple may have a new revolutionary device that people may get with the money they would have spent on a new iPhone. OR, Apple may be shifting manufacturing to a different location. Predictions say that the iPhone might do better in China then in the past so more may be made in China... There is probably another reason since both of those don't seem super likely. A new product would maybe be a VR headset but I don't really think that the appeal is as big as the iPhone. The increase in demand in China is also unlikely since Xiaomi just released one of the coolest phones seen in a while which is mainly sold in China with popularity equivalent to the iPhone in the US. Xiaomi has too much of a following, it's kinda like getting iPhone users to use a flagship Pixel, Samsung, Sony, or anything else.

That is all for today, thanks for reading!
